Biofungicides contain live Conidiospores of Trichoderma Harzianum, which restrict the growth of wide range of plant pathogenic Fungi, responsible for most of the soil borne diseases. This Biocontrol agent has multiple activities such as Antifungal, Antinematode, plant growth promotion, plant defense induction, compost decomposition and Phosphate solublisation. It is eco-friendly and biodegradable by nature and in compliance with integrated pest management (IPM) practices.

We have introduced Biofungicides having active ingredient called Trichoderma Harzianum. SARDAR ECOGREEN is to be marketed by GSFC and manufactured under the banner of GAPCL (Gujarat Agri Processing Company Ltd.), a joint venture of GSFC (Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.) and GNFC (Gujarat Narmada Fertilizers Company Ltd.) and GAIC (Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation). The technology know-how for its production is from NBRI (National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow), a CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) laboratory.

Mode of Action

Controls wide variety of soil borne fungal diseases like Root rot, Red rot, White rot & Blight, Wilt, Foot rot  and Collar rot by colonising roots, antagonism by mycoparasitism and/or antibioses, thereby competing out plant pathogenic fungi; solublises phosphate and other nutrients for plant uptake and promotes growth.

Groundnut, Cumin, Cotton, Wheat, Tur, Gram, Maize, Sunflower, Gladiolus, Opium poppy, Betelvine, Mentha, Sugarcane, Vegetable crops, etc.
