Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd, a leading manufacturing company of Fertilizers & Industrial Products has won the 2nd Position in the 17th National Award for Excellence in Cost Management, 2019. GSFC won the award under the category of Manufacturing-Public-Large.

GSFC has been following proven and innovative methods in cost management and award was conferred on GSFC in recognition of its best efforts taken and innovative approaches in Cost Management. 

The award is conferred by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, a premier Cost and Management Accounting body, which instituted the National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management in the year 2003 to recognize and honour organizations which have succeeded through efficient and innovative approaches in cost management.

The 17th edition of the awards has been decided by a Jury of eminent personalities headed by Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) S.J Mukhopadhyaya, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India & Former Chairperson National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited was formed in 1962, with the vision to manufacture fertilizers in response to the shortfall of agri inputs in Gujarat. By continually adhering to dedicated customer-centric policies, GSFC has become a pioneer in the industry. It is the first company to manufacture DAP, Caprolactam and Melamine in India. And today, with the same ideals and values, it has become the first company to manufacture Calcium Nitrate and Boronated Calcium Nitrate.
